Jeans are your constant companion throughout your day. They need to look good, fit comfortably, and simply feel right. That's exactly what GlücksStern stands for: fits that truly fit, high-quality materials, and responsible production.

We develop women's jeans that are not only fashionable – but will become true favorites.

How it all began

The name "GlücksStern" (Lucky Star) originated from a small decorative item in our living room. From that moment, the idea developed for a label that offers women jeans in which they feel completely comfortable.

GlücksStern was founded in 2015 by Kevin Giesler, who has worked in the textile industry for over 35 years. His experience in fashion retail and his keen sense of fit led to the development of a brand with a clear focus: jeans that fit better than ordinary jeans.

Our specialization: Women's jeans

Through our fashion stores focusing on women's clothing, we recognized a gap in the market: many jeans look good, but don't offer the desired comfort or the right fit. That's why we consciously specialized in women's jeans and are constantly developing our designs.

Fits that make the difference

Developing a new fit takes us up to three years. Because a pair of GlücksStern jeans should do more than just look good:

• Pockets that are positioned correctly

Our jeans fit comfortably without constricting and retain their shape – for a secure, comfortable feel all day long.

Our production

We produce exclusively in a family-run factory in Istanbul that specializes in denim and washes. Together with this partner, we developed and refined our cuts.

Over 100 people work on the production of our jeans – each one crafted with great care.

Sustainability & Responsibility

Our production meets recognized standards such as GOTS and OEKO-TEX. We rely on sustainable materials and gentle processes and continuously work to further improve our processes.

All jeans are delivered directly from the production facility to our warehouse in Ostrach – without unnecessary detours via air or sea freight. This significantly reduces transport emissions.

Quality over quantity

GlücksStern jeans are not mass-produced. We work with limited quantities and plan our production carefully. We sometimes use pre-orders to identify which models are particularly in demand – this way we avoid overproduction.

Approximately 50 new models are produced each year, including new colors and further developments of our bestsellers.

Returns and size exchanges can be easily registered via our returns portal . Simply select either a refund or a free size exchange.

Where are your jeans manufactured and processed?

Our jeans are manufactured exclusively in a factory in Istanbul, a family-run business with whom we have worked closely for many years. All production steps, from cutting and sewing to stone washing and hand-finishing processes, take place in one location. This ensures that our fit, cut, and quality standards are consistently maintained.

The higher price is primarily due to the handcrafted production, the elaborate washing processes, and the small production runs. Our jeans are not mass-produced; they are deliberately made in limited quantities.

We source our fabrics from the renowned manufacturer ISKO, which stands for the highest quality and holds all relevant certifications. Istanbul, in particular, is considered one of Europe's leading locations for high-quality denim production, especially in the areas of washing and finishing, where decades of experience and specialized know-how are at stake.

Since we work exclusively with one manufacturer, we are regularly on-site and visit the production facility once or twice a month. This close collaboration allows us, as two family businesses, to benefit from each other and continuously improve our processes, particularly in the areas of sustainability and responsibility.
