RETURNS and EXCHANGES

The procedure for returning an item purchased from our online shop gluecksstern.de is as follows:

For Germany and Austria, click on the following link: https://gluecksstern.de/apps/returns?is_merchant=1 within 14 days from the date you received the product.

Enter your order number and the email address associated with the order.

Select the option for a refund or exchange and state the reason.

Choose your preferred return method: home collection or a drop-off point.

Do I have to pay anything for a return?

At the end of the process, you will find the cost of the return under "Summary". No immediate payment is required.

We will deduct the return fee when processing the refund.

The return costs are borne by the customer, a flat rate of €6.

Important: The item remains your responsibility until it arrives at our store. Please note: If the returned item is worn or stained, we cannot process the return.

We are very sorry, but we cannot compensate for return shipping costs from abroad. Customers from abroad are welcome to return their items independently (we recommend insured shipping) to us.

How will I receive my refund?

Once a return has been approved, the purchase amount will be refunded using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.

When will I receive my refund?

Once we have confirmed that the returned items are in perfect condition with all original packaging and tags, you will receive an email notification of the amount credited to your account.

What if the refunded amount is incorrect?

In such cases, please contact us at onlineshop@gluecksstern.de. We will endeavor to resolve the issue promptly.

What happens if I receive a wrong or defective item?

If GlücksStern accidentally sends an item other than the one you ordered or the quality of a product is unsatisfactory, please contact us at onlineshop@gluecksstern.de to arrange a return and/or exchange. In this case, GlücksStern will bear the costs for both shipping and return.

Special offers:

Scented candles: If all jeans are returned, the scented candle will be charged in full.

For special offers with free shipping, the customer may bear the cost of return shipping.

Total processing time for returns and refunds: up to 23 days.

Where are your jeans made and processed?

Our jeans are exclusively manufactured in a factory in Istanbul, a family-run business with which we have been working closely for years. All production steps, from cutting and sewing to stone washing and manual finishing processes, take place in one location. This ensures that our fits, cuts, and quality standards are consistently maintained.

The higher price primarily results from the artisanal craftsmanship, the elaborate washes, and the small production quantity. Our jeans are not a mass product; rather, they are deliberately produced in limited quantities.

We source the fabrics used from the renowned manufacturer ISKO, which stands for the highest quality and holds all relevant certifications. Istanbul, in particular, is considered one of Europe's leading locations for high-quality denim production, especially in the areas of washing and finishing, where decades of experience and specialized know-how are available.

Since we work exclusively with one manufacturer, we are regularly on site, visiting the production one to two times a month. This close exchange allows us, as two family businesses, to mutually benefit from each other and continuously develop our processes, especially in the areas of sustainability and responsibility.
