Jeans accompany you through your everyday life. They have to look good, fit comfortably, and simply feel right. That's exactly what GlücksStern stands for: fits that really fit, high-quality materials, and responsible production.

We develop women's jeans that are not just fashionable – but become true favorite pieces.

How it all began

The name "GlücksStern" came about through a small decorative item in our living room. From that moment, the idea for a label developed that offers women jeans in which they feel completely comfortable.

GlücksStern was founded in 2015 by Kevin Giesler, who has been working in the textile industry for over 35 years. His experience in fashion retail and his feel for fits led to the development of a brand with a clear focus: jeans that fit better than the ordinary.

Our specialty: women's jeans

Through our fashion stores focusing on women's clothing, we recognized a gap in the market: many jeans look good but don't offer the desired comfort or the right fit. That's why we deliberately specialized in women's jeans and are constantly developing our cuts.

Fits that make a difference

Developing a new fit takes us up to three years. Because GlücksStern jeans should be able to do more than just look good:

Our Production

We produce exclusively in a family-run factory in Istanbul, which specializes in denim and washes. Together with this partner, we have developed and refined our cuts.

Over 100 people work on the production of our jeans – each pair crafted with great care.

Sustainability & Responsibility

Our production meets recognized standards such as GOTS and OEKO-TEX. We rely on sustainable materials and gentle processes and continuously work to further improve our operations.

All jeans are delivered directly from the production facility to our warehouse in Ostrach – without unnecessary detours via air or sea freight. This significantly reduces transport emissions.

Quality over quantity

GlücksStern jeans are not mass-produced. We work with limited quantities and plan our production carefully. We sometimes use pre-orders to identify which models are in particularly high demand – this helps us avoid overproduction.

Around 50 models are created each year, including new colors and further developments of our bestsellers.

How do your jeans fit?

Our jeans tend to run a bit large, as their flexible material quality allows them to adapt comfortably to the body. For the ideal fit, we recommend choosing one size smaller. Detailed fitting notes can also be found in the respective product description for each model.

How do returns or size exchanges work?

Returns and size exchanges can be conveniently registered via our returns portal. There, you simply choose refund or free size exchange.

Where are your jeans made and processed?

Our jeans are exclusively manufactured in a factory in Istanbul, a family-run business with which we have been working closely for years. All production steps, from cutting and sewing to stone washing and manual finishing processes, take place in one location. This ensures that our fits, cuts, and quality standards are consistently maintained.

The higher price primarily results from the artisanal craftsmanship, the elaborate washes, and the small production quantity. Our jeans are not a mass product; rather, they are deliberately produced in limited quantities.

We source the fabrics used from the renowned manufacturer ISKO, which stands for the highest quality and holds all relevant certifications. Istanbul, in particular, is considered one of Europe's leading locations for high-quality denim production, especially in the areas of washing and finishing, where decades of experience and specialized know-how are available.

Since we work exclusively with one manufacturer, we are regularly on site, visiting the production one to two times a month. This close exchange allows us, as two family businesses, to mutually benefit from each other and continuously develop our processes, especially in the areas of sustainability and responsibility.
